Maira E. Simental, M.D.

Dr. Maira Simental joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2005.  She is a board certified Radiation Oncologist and serves as Medical Director at Vantage Radiation Oncology Center in San Bernardino, California.  Prior to her position at St. Bernardine Medical Center, she was Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at La Sierra University in Riverside, and a Doctor of Medicine degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  Dr. Simental completed her internship in Family Medicine at the San Bernardino County Medical Center and her residency in Therapeutic Radiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.  She received her board certification in the treatment of gynecologic, breast, lung, brain, head and neck cancers. 

She is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American College of Radiation Oncology and the California Medical Association.
