Sonarray®

SonArray© is-an-advanced, high-precision patient positioning device designed for IMRT. It provides up-to-date target localization information for patient positioning in radiation therapy procedures by providing a real-time 3D reconstruction of the target at the time of treatment. The therapist positions the patient using the treatment room lasers and acquires the target volume using the SonArray© 3D ultrasound capabilities.

To localize the position of the target accurately and easily, CT contour volumes previously acquired are mapped to a 3D rendering of the ultrasound acquisition. The patient's position can be adjusted for each treatment allowing internal organs to be precisely positioned supporting a highly conformal treatment protocol.
