Each center deploys a variety of technologies to give the oncologist the tools necessary to target and treat the cancer.  You can learn more about the technologies here so that the process and systems become more familiar to you.

Not all patients qualify for radiation treatment.  If your radiation oncologist believes you are a candidate, you and your referring physicial will receive a thorough explaination of the proposed treatment plan.

Radiation therapy is typically performed as an out-patient procedure.
