Dr. Young Lee joined Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group in 2006 and practices at our two Orange County facilities, St. Jude Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital of Orange.  He received a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech and his M.D. degree from UCLA School of Medicine.  After completing his residency at University of California, Irvine, in 1992, he worked at City of Hope as a staff Radiation Oncologist.  He developed an in-house multi-disciplinary clinical trial for locally advanced Head and Neck cancer patients at City of Hope.  He was the primary investigator for a phase II clinical trial using electrochemical therapy before he joined the staff at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange in 1996.

Dr. Lee’s areas of clinical expertise include prostate cancer, head and neck cancer and brachytherapy.  He serves as the co-director of the Prostate Brachytherapy Program at St. Joseph Hospital.  Dr. Lee is an avid soccer fan, player and a coach.
